DJ Baker has been created for John Crawford who is actually a baker by trade but also an excellent DJ.

After looking at multiple sites for DJs we discussed how to make this stand out and that was to make this nice and clean. All other sites we looked at were very cluttered and uaually dark, so we of course went the opposite direction which we think makes the site really pop out and is very noticable.

When sitting down and discussion what the website was going to be with John we also agreed that the other sites out there say they are entertaining but don’t really show it and before I know it he pulls out a Storm Troopers outfit and even a gorilla out fit so we thought this needed to be put on line.

I spent a good afternoon with John taking photos and organising where these are to go on the site. All backgrounds were removed and resized to help make the pages load faster, I believe this shows how random and fun he can be by how fun the site is. Yes his head does disappear, but you will have to go and have a look to see what I mean.

I wrote all content on the DJ Baker site and then found out other information from John to fill some missing information.

5 Kids Photography

Matt Campbell is one of the best photographers we have ever come across.What he wanted was a way to showcase his work and a way for others to contact him easily. Matt also wanted aomething a little special for his site and this was for the main Wedding page to show a quick slideshow of thumbnails when you hold youer mouse over before clicking into the gallery and seeing the full images.

We wrote all content on the website and helped Matt understand the best wording to help with search engine optimisation.

I loved this challange and created this specifically for 5 Kids Photiography. Matt also wanted to have a link page to show other businesses that he liked and from looking at these are great options and can help planning any special day.

Securitywise Services

Securitywise Services is a small security firm with a lot of growth, since Roger and Ursula have so much knowledge and understanding of the business.

I was excited to make this site for them. A personalised theme and image manipulation like the image of Roger, I have removed the background which helps to showcase him. Also assisted with writing the content for the site that they can maintain themselves.

The origional website that was created was hard to understand and did not help inform people visiting the site so we helped to rewrite all the content on the website which now flows and is easy to understand.

The theme also has its own options panel which has centralised the contact information and how the main index or home page works and is written specifically with Securitywise in mind

JJFM Live

JJFM Live is a podcast based in Wellington New Zealand.They like to call themselves as 100% Politically Incorrect, when listening to what they do I would have to agree, but are a laugh when they are on, they are full on.

They wanted a simple site to showcase the shows and to give additional updates when they do them. This includes using simple categories to help find the updates quickly and a featured image for posts that show on the front page. We spent some time with the members who would be making updates and taught them the benefits of writing for the web and how this can help influence Search Engine Optimisation.

Purrville Cattery

This was created for our fun fluffy friends at Purrville Cattery.Dianne and Robert wanted something easy to look through and to find information on the cattery. Also a nice photo gallery of the cattery to show what it is like.

They know what they do and from the visits we have there it always reminds me of a playcentre for cats.

Campbell’s The Entertainers now live

We have been designing the Campbell’s site for a little while now but this is now finally live. This interactive experience was a lot of fun to create and Campbell’s the Entertainers is a brilliant business, with the latest in technology and an amazing song list. For example you can select from well over 500 albums to have. Not songs but albums!

Street Scene

Street Scene was a fun website to help design and create for ID Media, this helps to showcase the local small to medium businesses in their Bragazines. They currently showcase Petone, Otaki, Lower Hutt and Carterton.
